چکیده
As cellular network infrastructures are improving day by day; they are becoming the ideal clients to access the any Web resources, especially Internet Based Services. However, Smartphones have certain limitations in connecting smartphone based devices to existing Internet based Services. This paper mainly focuses on focuses on the following limitations: connection loss, bandwidth, latency, and limited resources. This paper implements a platform independent architecture for connecting smartphones to the existing Internet based Services. The architecture includes a cross platform design of smartphone based service client and a middleware for increasing the interaction between mobile clients and Internet based Web Services. The architecture can be deployed on Cloud Platforms, like CloudSim and Google App Engine to enhance the scalability and reliability. Key Terms: Smartphones; CloudSim; XML; PHP; Apache; Application Server; Recess PHP Platform; Representational State Transfer; RRJSON Full Text: http://www.ijcsmc.com/docs/papers/April2013/V2I4201324.pdf

Bandwidth and Delay Optimization by Integrating of Software Trust Estimator with Multi-User Cloud Resource Competence
Trust Establishment is one of the significant resources to enhance the scalability and reliability of resources in the cloud environment. To establish a novel trust model on SaaS (Software as a Service) cloud resources and to optimize the resource utilization of multiple user requests, an integrated software trust estimator with multi-user resource competence (IST-MRC) optimization mechanism is...
متن کاملDesign and Evaluation of a Method for Partitioning and Offloading Web-based Applications in Mobile Systems with Bandwidth Constraints
Computation offloading is known to be among the effective solutions of running heavy applications on smart mobile devices. However, irregular changes of a mobile data rate have direct impacts on code partitioning when offloading is in progress. It is believed that once a rate-adaptive partitioning performed, the replication of such substantial processes due to bandwidth fluctuation can be avoid...
متن کاملModeap: Moving Desktop Application to Mobile Cloud Service
Thanks to the availability of various mobile applications, lots of users shift from desktop environments, e.g., PCs and laptops, to mobile devices, e.g., smartphones and tablets. However, there are still some desktop applications without counterparts on mobile devices, such as some integrated development environments (e.g., eclipse) and automatic industry control systems. In this paper, we prop...

متن کاملClone2Clone (C2C): Peer-to-Peer Networking of Smartphones on the Cloud
In this work we introduce Clone2Clone (C2C), a distributed peer-to-peer platform for cloud clones of smartphones. C2C shows dramatic performance improvement that is made possible by offloading communication between smartphones on the cloud. Along the way toward C2C, we study the performance of device-clones hosted in various virtualization environments in both private (local servers) and public...
